This very special concert features the award-winning acoustic guitar virtuosos and composers Antonio Forcione and Giorgio Serci as they team up to present a colourful, story-telling repertoire of passionate and melodic original compositions and atmospheric re-arrangements. Guitar maestro Antonio Forcione is hailed as one of the most charismatic and innovative guitarists at large in the musical world today. With a host of international awards under his belt, and 20 albums released to date, this eclectic composer never ceases to stun his audience on stage, leading him to be referred to as the ‘Jimie Hendrix of the acoustic guitar”.
Antonio’s playing breaks the mould of most conventional guitar sounds, be it in the field of jazz, Spanish, African, Brazilian or improvised music, his performances encompassing a ferocious virtuosity, passion and humour. Joining Antonio in this special show is the Sardinian guitarist Giorgio Serci, renowned for his performances and collaborations with prominent international artists such as David Garrett, Ivan Lins and Basia.
