Jazz At The George - Jo Harrop & Jamie McCredie “The Art Of Voice & Guitar”
From 23 Apr 26 7:30 PM to 23 Apr 26 10:30 PM
After a three-year hiatus from their journey as a well respected duo, Jo and Jamie are making a welcome return to the stage and studio. They will be playing songs inspired by the much loved jazz duets of Joe Pass & Ella Fitzgerald and Bill Evans and Tony Bennett bringing a fresh approach in their own unique and intimate style.
This special performance marks the next chapter in a collaboration thar has earned widespread critical and broadcast acclaim. Alongside songs from their much-praised 2020 album ‘Weathering The Storm’ [“A gem …simple, modest and perfect….” - The Guardian], the duo will be showcasing stripped-back interpretations from across their wider catalogues as well as new material from their forthcoming album, ‘Lighthouses’.
