Jazz at George IV - Mim Grey Trio

From 13 Mar 24 7:30 PM to 13 Mar 24 10:00 PM

Featuring the exceptional vocal and guitar talents of soulful country artist Mim Grey as she debuts her latest single, “A Little Love”. Mim’s captivating vocals and compelling compositions tell the story of life in a voice and manner of a true country singer/songwriter.

“She’s my favourite singer ….” – Sir Tom Jones.

This special showcase mixes Mim’s original material with her own unique take on the music that inspires her including Carole King’s Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Norah Jones Come Away With Me, The Eagles, One Of These Nights Bonnie Rait’s I Can’t Make You Love Me & Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi among others.

Long admired as a stellar UK singer and songwriting talent, Mim has a particular affinity with Joni Mitchell, having not just co-written a song from her first album with her, but more recently having been a featured singer on The Both Sides Now/Joni Mitchell Reimagined album, a special homage to the songs of Joni Mitchell.

Ably complimented by Nat Martin on guitar (Toya, Robert Fripp, Living In A Box) and Steve Vintner on percussion (Tom Jones, Westlife, The Moody Blues), an evening with Mim Grey is an evening of musical enchantment that will linger long after the final note fades away.

“The most beautiful voice to come out of London for a long time ….” - Michael Ball.
