Pints of Knowledge
From 31 May 26 12:30 PM to 31 May 26 2:00 PM
Curiosity deserves good company—and a good pint. Join us in The Boston Room for the very first Pints of Knowledge event!
On Sunday 31st May, step into a lively afternoon where history, conversation, and quality ale come together. Doors open from 11:30am, with talks beginning promptly at 1:00pm. If you’re dining with us, we recommend arriving at noon; for drinks only, 12:30pm gives you time to settle in.
This launch event welcomes Subhadra Das—historian, writer, and curator—who will explore the legacies of Western civilisation through the lens of science, history, and personal experience. With her background in the history of race and eugenics, and as author of Uncivilised: Ten Lies That Made The West, Subhadra brings insight and humour to challenging questions: is the West as civilised as it claims? Expect lively discussion and an engaging Q&A.
Pints of Knowledge is all about bringing brilliant minds and curious audiences together in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Whether you’re a regular at the bar or simply keen to think out loud over a pint, we’d love you to be part of it.
Seats are limited, so gather your friends and join the conversation.
