Jazz At George IV - The Errol Linton Band
From 12 Feb 26 7:30 PM to 12 Feb 26 10:00 PM
Settle in for a proper night of live blues in The Boston Room as The Errol Linton Band takes to the stage. With over three decades at the heart of the British blues scene, Errol Linton brings a world-class blend of Chicago blues and reggae swing, guaranteed to have the place humming from the first note.
Errol Linton’s artistry has earned him national acclaim, from touring alongside legends like Bo Diddley and Dr John, to playing a packed Glastonbury Acoustic Stage, and featuring in BBC Two’s Arena documentary ‘Two Generations of the Blues’. Errol is a three-time UK Blues Harmonica Player Of The Year and winner of the UK Blues Challenge. His soulful harmonica powers Joe Bonamassa’s Grammy-nominated album, and his recent live session for Cerys Matthews’ BBC Radio 2 Blues Show proves he’s still at the very top of his game. Alongside Errol, expect dazzling piano from Petar Zikovic, the accomplished guitar of Richey Green, the rhythmic bass of Lance Rose, and Gary Williams’ uplifting drums. Together, they deliver blues for the soul and tunes you’ll feel right down to your boots.
Whether you’re a devotee or just partial to a night of quality music and good company, The Errol Linton Band promises an evening not to be missed. Get ready for tightly wound rhythms, striking solos, and an atmosphere only George IV can deliver.
Doors open at 7.00pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £18 (£16 for Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders), plus Eventbrite booking fee.
